Quick and accurate lab results are essential to diagnosing and treating critical care cases. Our laboratory service provider has a rapid turnaround time.
We have the ability to process and interpret x-rays in house for rapid diagnosis and treatment.
We provide a variety of general surgery procedures for our patients. To maximize your pet's safety, pre-anesthetic blood testing is always performed to assess your pet’s health prior to surgery. We are strong advocates for pain management and strive to ensure the best pain control possible, both pre- and post-operative.
We have exceptional ward facilities including an ICU/recovery area, a self-contained isolation unit, indoor kennels, and adequate exercise areas. We have caring staff dedicated to providing for your pet’s every need.
We have nice, clean, and spacious kennels to board your pets whether it is a short or extended stay. For your convenience, we also schedule pick-ups and drop-offs on days we are closed and on holidays.

As a solo veterinary practice, we are rarely able to see after hours and weekend emergencies. When we are not available, we recommend the emergency services offered by Town and Country Veterinary Clinic in Christiansburg, VA. (540-382-5042).
Our office prefers to see patients by appointment only, but walk-ins are welcome. We do have drop-off appointments available for your convenience. (Drop-offs accepted until 10:00am.) We offer surgery appointments Tuesday through Friday. (Surgery appointments must be admitted before 9:00am in order to complete pre-surgical examinations and preanesthetic blood testing. Surgery hours are from 10:00am until 2:00pm.)
